The biggest forums in the world

I came across an interesting link: 

rating of the largest Internet forums . It lists over 2000 forums, for each of which some statistics are collected, for example, by the number of topics, users, forum engine and, most importantly, by the number of posts. I will give here a few lines that seemed interesting to me, in particular, the top 10 forums in general, the top 10 Russian forums, the 100th, 500th, 1000th and 2000th participant in the rating. Russian forums are marked in green. If you are interested in links, they are in the rating.

It is curious to note that the most visited forum in the .ru domain is sexnarod.ru, since iXBT and Ru-Board are located in the .com zone, and Rus-Chat is in .de in general 🙂 21st and 22nd respectively. An unusually large percentage of the rating participants are automotive forums.Of course, keeping this table up to date is quite difficult. As far as I could understand, the latency of the rating is about a month. But it has been going on for a long time, and on one of the forums in the topic of 2.5 years ago, I dug up a quote from the March 2005 rating :)top5 of the entire Internet:

You can immediately notice how much more fluderic the forum is avytue compared to flocal 🙂 Even the great ENT did not reach it.It should be noted that the record for the number of online visitors does not belong to Gaia Online, but to the French automotive forum
